Why did we reduce the price?
We had difficulties with welding during manufacture, and a tight shipping deadline to meet. We made another hood so we could ship on time, and later fixed our weld problems. The hood is now free of defects and we need to make room in our warehouse, so we've priced it to move.

Why did we reduce the price?
The heat from our welding caused the crescent shaped sides to develop an almost imperceptable ripple.  We decided to remake the original hood and offer this one at a special discounted price.  We feel this hood is entirely presentable because the ripples in the  sides are barely visible.  We've steeply discounted this hood to move.
